For those of you who haven't yet seen this video of Tamar Fogel, the 12 year old girl whose family was murdered in Israel recently, it is very worth watching.
its about time someone put english subtitles to it. i watched it about a week and a half ago, but the point is to get it out so that everyone can understand it. to know the strength of the jewish people
Who added these subtitles? they missed out an integral part! they skipped where she said that she said that we will continue to settle the land, because they try breaking us and they dont succeed. That is what it should say at around 1:18.
My friend linked this video to me. It's truly heartbreaking. On one hand, her maturity and hope is empowering and inspirational. It really makes me feel like - you know what, B"H, she's doing well. And she's only going uphill from here.
On the other hand, she's 12 years old! The poor girl witnessed her family's corpses on a Shabbat night. It makes me so angry that there are such cruel people in the world who can do such a horrible act. May HaShem avenge their blood.
The professor- I don't know who added the subtitles- I saw it posted on Facebook and took it from there. Translations always miss some aspect of the original. They should have added that part!
Sefardi Gal- I agree! Inspirational and also heartbreaking.
